What I want you to know most is that my job as a mother is the one closest to my heart, it's the one that's taught me what it means to parent and has given me the best opportunities to learn about myself as a woman. I do not have a PhD., but I do have twenty two years of twenty four hours a day, seven days a week experimentation! And I have living proof that my ideas work--six extraordinary children!

SHEILA ELLISON is a dedicated mother of six, prolific author, and nationally recognized speaker on successful parenting. Her advice has been helping over a million parents creatively feed, play with and raise their children. Sheila is the founder of Single Moms Connect, an online community that connects single mothers in a one-to-one friendship that offers practical, emotional and physical support as each woman rebuilds her life. She continues to write and live in Northern California with her four children ages 21, 20, 17, and 15, her husband and two step children ages 20 and 16.
